Along with her friend, AF Creampuff, Morgan (pictured above with her first daughter, “Arwen”) was bought from our good friend, Bud Griffith, – owner of Alpaca Farms in Pennsylvania. Bud was the first alpaca breeder on the East Coast and knows practically all there is to know about alpacas. He is also a charming, honest person.
Morgan is the daughter of Tadziu, a medium brown sire and Elba, a medium medium silver gray alpaca.
Morgan’s first daughter, Arwen, out of our alpaca herdsire Campion, did well for us in shows, especially in fleece shows. She won and first AND the championship ribbon for “Best Crimp.” at the Great Frederick Fair’s AOBA show. Here she is being shown in the children’s obstacle class.

Arwen, now owned by Alpacas of Sunset Fields, went on to give birth to show winner, Special Dark shown here by our pal, Kate McKelvie:

Morgan’s second cria was a very crimpy male, Solstice, out of our alpaca herdsire Valentino.

Despite the soft, yumminess of her alpaca fleece, Morgan’s main charm for me was her pretty, girly face. (Shown here, a little dusty and damp.)
