Knight of Camelot

Camelot has great conformation and a soft handle to his dense, crimpy, lustrous, black fleece. He just placed 2nd in a huge class at the 2003 MAPACA Jubilee. Now breeding, Camelot's first cria is due in June. His wonderful temperament makes him a prize-winning stud who could pass on some gray genetics to his progeny.

Camelot was owned by our friends and former customers, Kate & Scott McKelvie at Alpacas of Sunset Fields.  We have always said that there is not better way to help your own customers to be successful in the alpaca business than to buy from them or breed to one of their alpaca herdsires if they have what you want.  It's good business to help your own customers succeed because that reflects well on your business too.

For that reason, and also because Camelot is gorgeous and a show winner, we bred our true black girl Jezebel to him.  They produced Rose's Chloe, one of the cutest alpacas I've ever seen. Chloe sold for an excellent price at only 6 months of age!  Everyone who saw her fell in love with her.
